The
LEADERSHIP & CHAPTER DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE provides leadership to
the chapter to ensure that the appropriate organization, infrastructure,
policies and procedures are in place for the effective operation of
chapter, and that all applicable guidelines, policies and procedures of
National SOPHE are being followed. The committee also has responsibility
for ensuring a successful transition of officers and committees
following elections. They have lead responsibility for preparing the NCA
SOPHE Chapter Strategic Plan and Operations Manual and for ensuring
that both are updated annually. The Committee also has responsibility
for planning and implementing a leadership development process for
ensuring that all officers and committee chairpersons are fully prepared
to effectively and efficiently discharge their functions.
VISION
To
enhance the leadership capabilities of and within SOPHE by preparing
for a successful transition of officers from one election to the next.
To provide leadership for the chapter in achieving its goals, support
the national organization, and foster individualized leadership of
elected members of SOPHE.
