The
SOCIAL COMMITTEE plans and coordinates networking, recreational,
sporting, cultural, and other entertainment activities for the Chapter.
These events allow Chapter members the chance to meet one another, hear
about upcoming chapter activities, network with colleagues, and
socialize with colleagues in the public health field. The committee
shall also have responsibility for planning and coordinating logistics
arrangements for Executive Board and Member meetings.
VISION
To
increase the feeling of community and camaraderie among chapter
members, to introduce the members to one another socially, and provide
opportunities for fun, relaxation, and intellectual exchange on
health-related topics for NCA SOPHE members.
